Our Mission
MI Academy offers firm specific interventions that are not only aimed at developing aspiring CA’s in obtaining SAICA’s prestigious designation CA(SA), but to also develop future leaders that have impactful globe mobility.
Gone are the days where chartered accountants are number crunchers/bean counters in a dark back office and tasked with mundane tasks. Chartered accountants of the future need to continuously adapt and solve complex unstructured problems!
The Academy’s interventions are aimed at not only enhancing and elevating technical competence, but take it a step further in leveraging technical competence so candidates can be valuable in any organization globally! By providing practical and viable solutions in a continuously changing world, the skills developed in the Academy ensures a candidate’s continuous relevance.
The team has 22 years combined experience in academia, practical experience from having written the APC and years of involvement in mentoring APC candidates. The team’s passion for education and mentorship of young people is at the core of the academy’s mission and values.
